Workswell SAFETIS EX-proof - explosion-proof installed thermal camera

The primary application area of Workswell SAFETIS (Safety Thermal Imaging System) EX-proof explosion-proof installed thermal cameras is industrial temperature monitoring in hazardous areas. Two types of long-wave detectors are available - with 336x256 pixels (SAFETIS 336 EX-proof) or 640x512 pixels (SAFETIS 640 EX-proof) - providing a thermal resolution of 50 mK. The cameras feature a 100 Mb/s Ethernet interface tailored for industrial applications, and they also come with a built-in web server. No additional software is required, as they can be controlled and queried from a web browser!

The types of Workswell SAFETIS EX-proof explosion-proof installed thermal cameras come with a special explosion-proof housing and are certified with ATEX II 2G Ex IIC T6 Gb, II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C, Db Ta -40°C ... 60°C. Thanks to their housing, the cameras have an IP67 protection rating, allowing for unlimited outdoor use. Their built-in web server enables easy installation and commissioning.

Rugged and compact design

The rugged housing of Workswell SAFETIS EX-proof thermal cameras is primarily designed for industrial applications (installed thermal cameras): they come with a choice of IP67-rated metal housings to meet local requirements, ensuring resistance even in harsh conditions. Their special explosion-proof housing is certified with ATEX II 2G Ex IIC T6 Gb, II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C, Db Ta -40°C ... 60°C. Their frame rate allows for the detection of moving objects or rapid temperature changes.

Operation, remote control

Remote control of Workswell SAFETIS EX-proof installed thermal cameras from a PC is easily achievable for all versions. They are equipped with a built-in 100 Mb/s Ethernet interface and their own internal web server. This eliminates the need for additional software, as they can be controlled and queried from a web browser! Compatible with any operating system and multiple browsers!

Preparation for the site, such as eliminating false alarms caused by moving objects, is done through intelligent data evaluation. For larger systems, up to 16 thermal cameras can be simultaneously queried online in real-time and their data evaluated using the SAFETIS control unit.
