VMI M2 Vibration Monitoring Unit - The VMI M2 installed vibration monitoring unit is available in single or dual-channel versions, capable of receiving electrodynamic vibration velocity and ICP-type (with built-in charge amplifier) piezoelectric vibration acceleration sensors.

The device processes the sensor signal according to the set measurement range and frequency band. As a result, the VMI M2 provides a vibration velocity-proportional signal per channel on the channels' BNC connectors (0...10 V analysis signal) and on the device's terminal blocks (0...20 mA or 4...20 mA current signal) for further evaluation.

The operation of the two alarm relay outputs is based on the effective vibration velocity level. If this exceeds one of the set alarm threshold values, the corresponding LED lights up, and - if it remains above the threshold value through the set delay time - the corresponding relay contact also switches.
