Sensonics AEGIS Machine Protection Unit - Multi-channel installed vibration monitoring and machine protection system

Sensonics AEGIS Machine Protection Unit - The Sensonics AEGIS vibration monitoring and machine protection system continuously and reliably supervises and protects rotating machinery. After installation and configuration, the Sensonics AEGIS continuously and automatically, thanks to its robust system, performs machine protection tasks flawlessly without maintenance. To ensure the faultless operation of the Sensonics AEGIS, it performs continuous self-checks on each channel and the connected measurement circuits.

The Sensonics AEGIS system can be applied to the protection of electric motors, pumps, fans, turbines, generators, compressors, mills, grinders, mixers, and many other rotating machines. System Features

System Configuration

The Sensonics AEGIS system has a modular structure. Each channel module is completely independent from the others, galvanically isolated, equipped with its own power supply, preamplifier corresponding to the attached sensor or process parameter, sensor supply or signal conditioning, analog and relay outputs, as well as front panel indicator LEDs and control buttons. There are channel modules for receiving vibration, displacement, temperature, speed, and other process parameter signals, as well as 3 ½ or 4 ½ digit display modules for data visualization.

  • can receive signals from vibration acceleration, velocity, or displacement sensors

  • bandpass filters - wide frequency range selection
  • monitoring and display scaled in acceleration, velocity, or displacement
  • buffered analog sensor signal outputs for analysis and archiving systems
MO9602 Bearing Condition Monitoring Module
  • can receive signals from bearing condition indicator sensors
  • adjustable indication and alarm levels
  • output proportional to bearing damage (depending on speed, load, and temperature)
  • alert in case of insufficient bearing lubrication
  • continuous self-check
  • analog signal outputs
MO9603 Axial Shaft Position Monitoring Module
  • can receive signals from eddy current displacement (shaft position) sensors
  • adjustable indication and alarm levels
  • continuous self-check, alert in case of error
  • adjustable signal range and zero adjustment on-site
  • analog signal outputs
MO9605 Temperature Monitoring Module
  • can receive signals from resistance temperature sensors
  • adjustable indication and alarm levels
