TPI Smart Vibration Monitor Machine Vibration Monitor - Multi-channel remote monitoring machine vibration monitoring system

The TPI SVM 9034 / 9038 named 4 or 8-channel continuous vibration analysis remote monitoring units are developed for the supervision and protection of various rotating machinery, as well as for vibration diagnostic analysis. By using the TPI Smart Vibration Monitor Machine Vibration Monitoring units, the condition of monitored machines can be viewed and on-site vibration data can be analyzed via USB or local Ethernet network (with vibration analysis software running on a PC), or even over the internet (with cloud application).

Operating Modes

The installed vibration analyzers of TPI SVM 9034 or 9038 are based on the latest generation hardware, allowing for the connection of 4 or 8 acceleration sensors, 1 each of temperature and speed sensors per unit, providing 4 ... 20 mA current output and the same number of digital outputs per vibration channel. With the evaluation device, USB and Ethernet connections can be established, enabling various applications of the units:

Stand-alone machine monitoring and protection

Based on the signals of the vibration sensors connected to the TPI SVM 9034 or 9038 unit, continuous monitoring/protection of rotating machinery can be achieved through the digital relay outputs available per vibration channel. Thanks to the Smart Vibration Monitor PC software, prediction and alarm vibration levels can be easily set in acceleration and/or velocity scaling. Moreover, in the case of connected rotation sensors, the speed range can be defined where the protection should not trigger (e.g., during startup or shutdown).

Integration into process control or regulatory systems

Based on the signals of the vibration sensors connected to the unit(s), continuous monitoring of rotating machinery can be achieved by integrating into existing process control/regulatory or production monitoring systems through standard 4 ... 20 mA current outputs per channel. Of course, the scaling of the current outputs can be set in vibration velocity or acceleration.

Advanced PC software-based machine vibration analysis

With a PC or Notebook connected to the TPI 9034 or 9038 unit via USB cable, the vibration levels of up to 64 units per channel can be monitored on the screen, and further vibration analysis can be performed. Among other things, up to 51,200 lines of spectrum analysis are possible!

Continuous online machine monitoring/vibration analysis

By using TPI's cloud service, the vibration data of all TPI 9034 or 9038 units can be viewed from anywhere in the world with any standard web browser, and machine vibration analysis can be carried out. Additionally, the configuration of the units' inputs/outputs and other functions can be done. Moreover, generating the appropriate reports with just one click, and sending email alerts/notifications (or setting up automatic distribution) is also possible.

Expandability

The continuous machine monitoring-vibration analysis system based on TPI 9034 or 9038 units is primarily designed for continuous monitoring of decentralized (isolatedly installed) manufacturing equipment and machine groups. For this purpose, the units can be individually installed and customized as desired, but collectively configured as a remote monitoring or remote diagnostic system.
